Mountain Quail are by far my very favorite quail I own. The Mountain Quail is the largest quail in the United States. They have long head plumes that gives a clue to their attitude. When the plume is angled backward, the bird is typically relaxed, feeding or resting, like a dog with its ears down. When the plume sticks straight up, the bird is agitated or alert. I would highly recommend raising Mountain Quail on wire.

We will either issue a refund or ship you a new parcel of hatching eggs.
Even with proven fertility and careful monitoring, no hatch is ever guaranteed. Too many factors exist that can affect an eggs viability. For this reason, we do not guarantee hatch rates.
